TYT’den (The Young Turks – Genç Türkler… ya da Young Traitors – Genç Hainler mi demeliyiz?) Cenk Uygur açıkça Ermeni baskısına boyun eğdi.
Cenk Uygur, Türk Avukat, “The Young Turks” (TYT) adlı YouTube programının sunucusu ve yaratıcısı.
“Cenk Uygur of TYT (The Young Turks…or is it the Young Traitors?) clearly bowed to Armenian pressure.
It is a sad day when a politician sells his heritage, his history, his people, his principles, just to get elected. By the way, Cenk is now running for Congress. Are you still surprised for this sudden flip-flop of position on a controversial subject?
That said, no claim of genocide can be taken seriously if it ignores THE SIX T’S OF THE TURKISH-ARMENIAN CONFLICT:
1) Tumult : Numerous violent Armenian armed uprisings,1862-1920 (Esat Uras, Salahi Sonyel);
2) Terrorism: Armenian terrorism victimizing Ottoman-Muslims (1860-1922, Louise Nalbandian, Yucel Guclu);
3) Treason: Armenian turncoats joining the invading enemy armies (1877-1922, Justin McCarthy, Edward Erickson, Heath Lowry);
4) Territorial Demands: In regions where Armenians were a minority trying to establish the first apartheid of the 20th Century (1877-1922, Stanford Shaw, Kamuran Gurun, Kemal Cicek, Yusuf Halacoglu.)
5) Turkish Suffering And Losses : More than 3 million Muslims, mostly Turks, died during WWI; 1.1 million of them in Eastern Anatolia alone—half a million of them at the hands of Armenian revolutionaries (1914-1918, Kemal Cicek, Turkkaya Ataov, Sukru Server Aya, Houshamatyan by ARF)
6) TERESET : The temporary resettlement order of May 31, 1915. Triggered by the first five T’s above and amply documented as such; not to be equated to the Armenian misrepresentations of genocide (Yusuf Halacoglu, Bilal Simsir, Yusuf Sarinay, Hikmet Ozdemir, Sukru Server Aya.)
Any treatment of 1915 events, scholarly or lay, that leaves half the story out does not help advance History scholarship or peace among Turks and Armenians. Such works will be dismissed as examples of Ethocide (*).
When the above factors, facts, and figures are included, one will see that it was no genocide, not even close. It was a necessary and reasonable wartime measure ( resorted to by the Britain in Boer Wars, the US in the Philippines, and many other powers in many different places before) taken to mitigate a very serious threat to Ottoman war effort by wide spread overt and covert fifth column activities of Armenians and their foreign handlers (Russia, Britain, France, American missionaries, and Western media.) Armenians were no angels as portrayed by unscrupulous anti-Turkish zealots and anti-Muslim bigots. Closure requires soul searching and honesty on all parts, not just Turks.
