Christlich Demokratische Union Deutschlands <info@cdu.de>
vielen Dank für Ihre Nachricht an die CDU Deutschlands. Mit folgender Nachricht haben Sie sich an uns gewandt:
Dear Mrs Merkel,
I wish to begin this letter by congradulating you for your consistent, principled and humanitarian apporoaches to the tragic question of “flühtlinge” flow to European countries from Syria. You proved to be the most knowledged, understanding, compassionate and humanitarian politician, and thus I and my friends strongly support your nomination to Nobel Prize which you have merited.
By the way, when we were shown , 2 months ago, the simple- rather uneasy- chairs for long Wagner performances you and your husband preferred to sit as any common spectator instead of sitting in priviledged, pompous theater box with comfortable armchairs specially allocated to prime ministers at the great Wagner’s Festspielhaus in Bayreuth, we were deeply impressed by your and your husband’s paragon of modesty which renders your virtuousness that the chairmen and the co-chairmen of other German parties and other countries’ dignitaries adopt.
Mrs Prime Minister, I send you this letter primarily to bring to your knowledge the following information and assements in connection with the pending discussion of draft resolutions on “Armenian Massacres” submitted by the Left Party and the Alliance ’90/The Greens to the Bundestag:
“Massacres” which have taken place during the 1st World War in the Eastern provinces of Turkey were tragic events for both the Muslim and Christian subjects of the Ottoman Empire. It is well known that they have been instigated by the British, French and the Tsarist Russian emperialist powers making use of the terrible Armenian Tashnaksutyun and other terorrist organisations, for furthering their own economic and military ends.
Whereas, the texts of the draft resolutions of the abovementioned parties do not reflect the reciprocative nature of these massacres, fomented by the Armenian terror organizations in Van city where 60% of the Muslims were lost by the war’s end. These were very well-known facts by the Germans who then were allied with the Ottomans against the Entente Powers.
In fact the two parties in question i.e. the Linke and the Greens, who advertise themselves as open-minded, democratic, humanitarian, impartial institutions prove to be, by the merit of their draft resolutions, unfair, discriminatory and provocative.
I should like also to submit to your attention Mrs Prime Minister that the deceitful drafters of that sort may try to change the substance of their motion, during the 38 minute discussions, e.g. replacing the word ” massacre” with “genocide” which would then lead the Bundestag fail in its duty, as “genocide is precisely a legal concept”. This particularity has been confirmed by all the verdicts of European Court of Justice, European Court of Human Rights and also by the French and Spanish Constitutional Courts. Therefore the political parties, parliaments, prime ministers, presidents, federal and federated governments, presidents are not entitled to qualify an event as “genocide”. Yet if and when they do so they are of no value; they discredit the stature of their institutions.
I hope Mrs Merkel, through the votes of the CDU/CSU and SPD deputies of insight will not be swayed by the Left Party’s and the Alliance ’90/The Greens’s impertinent and aggressive draft resolutions, and solemnly reject them, safeguarding the stature of the Bundestag.
I sincerely wish and hope that your wise and subtle approach to the draft resolutions contribute to achieving such a principled and righteous conclusion.
Yours sincerely,
