COMPONENT ASSOCIATIONS
- The ASSOCIATION may expand by the acceptance of Component
Associations.
- Application to become a Component Association shall be made in
writing to the Board of Directors of the ASSOCIATION. The Board of Directors determine the
eligibility of the applicant to become a Component Association. The President of the
ASSOCIATION shall report the recommendations of the Board to the next annual Assembly of
Delegates or at a special meeting of delegates, expressly for the purpose of expediting
membership. Component status shall be granted on an affirmative simple majority vote of
the delegates present.
- Membership requirements to Component Associations shall be the same
as the ASSOCIATION membership. (See article IV, individual memberships)
- Bylaws of Component Associations must either be the same as the
ASSOCIATION (The ASSOCIATION Bylaws contain sufficient information for Component
Association's operations) or must not contain contradictions to the Bylaws of the
ASSOCIATION.
- A Component Association may be suspended or expelled for cause upon
the recommendation of the Board of Directors and by the two-thirds majority vote of the
delegates present in either the annual or a special meeting of the Assembly of Delegates.
