Watch this ‘Taken 2’ trailer, or Liam Neeson will come for you! VIDEO

You don’t want to mess with Liam Neeson.

The tall, hulking Irish actor introduces a new Internet-only trailer for Taken 2, the sequel to his 2008 thriller Taken.

“Check out this exclusive look at Taken 2, exclusively on YouTube,” intones Neeson, starring out and pointing at the viewer, “Or I will come for you, and I will find you.”

The trailer follows Neeson’s Bryan Mills having a happy reunion with his daughter Kim, played by Maggie Grace, and ex-wife Lenore, played by Famke Janssen, in Istanbul. Soon after, husband and wife are, yes, taken, with a black bag cinched around Neeson’s head and neck. There’s a flurry of action after, including Grace driving a car with Neeson, speeding over train tracks and almost getting decimated into nothingness by an oncoming train.

“I have a particular set of skills, skills that make me a nightmare for people like you,” says Neeson, his deep voice booming in an overhead narration, at one point. Indeed, indeed he does.

“We’ll find him. And we’re going to have our revenge.” Fox has released the new full-length theatrical trailer for Olivier Megaton’s Taken 2, starring Liam Neeson as badass CIA operative/father Bryan Mills again. This time, on a vacation to Istanbul with his family, he gets taken with his wife (it’s not a spoiler, it’s all in the trailer) played again by Famke Janssen. His daughter, Maggie Grace, also returns running around in skimpy clothing. But it all looks awesome, the perfect way to follow up the first movie, can’t wait to see it. Also, is it just me, or are they using parts of Hans Zimmer’s Dark Knight Rises score in this? Crazy.

Taken 2 is a sequel to the surprise 2008 action hit starring Liam Neeson. In Istanbul, retired CIA operative Bryan Mills (Neeson) and his wife (Famke Janssen) are taken hostage by the father of a kidnapper Mills killed while rescuing his daughter (Maggie Grace) in the first film. French filmmaker Olivier Megaton (of Colombiana and Transporter 3 previously) directs the film from a script by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen (who both wrote the original Taken film and Fifth Element together); Besson is also producing. 20th Century Fox is bringing Taken 2 to theaters everywhere starting on October 5th this fall. How was that?

The brand-new trailer for Taken 2 was unveiled on Thursday, and it looks like we’re in for much more of the same Liam Neeson revenge action that made the first installment so popular — this time set against the beautiful backdrop of Istanbul!

Much of the original’s cast and crew — with the glaring exception being Olivier Megaton replacing previous director Pierre Morel — has returned for Taken 2, which finds retired CIA Agent Bryan Mills (Neeson) on vacation in Istanbul with his wife (Famke Janssen) and daughter (Maggie Grace). Mills is soon forced back into action, however, when his wife is taken hostage by a revenge-seeking father (Rade Serbedzija).

Check out the trailer below, and don’t miss Taken 2 when it hits theaters on Oct. 5.
