Erdoğan deputy: “Jews are to blame for riots”

Erdogan DeputyVice President Bashir Atali claims that foreign elements and the Jewish diaspora encouraged the protests in Turkey, protests that began in Istanbul and spread out across the country

“Foreign and Jewish forces abroad are the ones who encouraged the recent protests in Turkey” claimed Turkish Vice President Bashir Atali in an interview with “Hurriyet” newspaper during a visit to the Antalya region.

According to Jerusalem Post Atali said that foreign media are a big part of spreading the “conspiracy” and their involvement led to the riots. “Those who tried to block the way of Great Turkey did not succeed”’ he declared, adding that “there are societies that are jealous of Turkey’s growth and they are uniting now, amongst them is the Jewish diaspora”.

“You all witnessed the foreign media’s attitude during the Gazi park riot, they were encouraging it and they began coverage from the park immediately without first seriously researching the subject” he said.

Jews are Number One Target of Hate Speech in Turkey

A Turkish foundation created in memory of a slain Armenian and human rights activist and journalist, Hrant Dink, revealed in its bi-annual report on discrimination in Turkish publications, that Jews and Armenians are the top targets of hate speech in Turkey, with Jews edging out the Armenians as the number one target of hate.

    HateSpeechGraph.jpg

Hrant Dink, an Armenian who sought to promote Turkish-Armenian reconciliation and who fought against many kinds of discrimination in his native Turkey, was murdered by three gun shots to the back of the head on January 19, 2007.  Dink had been charged several times by the Turkish government with violating Article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code which makes it a crime to “denigrate Turkishness.”  One of the primary targets of this criminal law is the public mention or promotion of the Turkish massacres of Armenians or Kurds as historical facts.

In Dink’s memory, the International Hrant Dink Foundation was created to promote equal opportunities and encourage cultural diversity and  cultural relations among all the peoples of Turkey, Armenia and Europe, to support the democratization of Turkey and to allow the recognition of past nationalism and racism that has afflicted Turkey, and work to improve the present so that the past is not repeated.

One of the projects of the Dink Foundation is a Media and Hate Speech Watch, in which periodic reviews are made of all the nationwide news publications in Turkey, in order to determine whether and if so which groups are the targets of hate speech.

In the period between September and December, 2012, Jews were the most frequent targets of hate speech in Turkey, followed closely by Armenians, after that Christians were targeted and then there was a big drop-off to the fourth place Greeks living in Turkey.  Westerners in general and then Greeks make up the bulk of the remaining victims of Turkish hate speech, according to the Dink Foundation report.

Iranian Ayatollah Claims Jews Invented Buddhism

February 28, 2013 By Daniel Greenfield

Muslims excel at picking fights with other religions. If there’s a religion out there that isn’t Islam, Muslims will sooner or later get into a fight with it. Even if the religion is Islam, Muslims will still fight each other over which Islam is the right one.

But the main idea of Islamism is that the Jews are behind all the evil in the world. So when Muslims get into a fight with Buddhists, who are not that easy to provoke, their theology demands that the whole thing be explained in terms of Evil Jew Theory.

And that leaves them no other choicebut to claim that the Jews invented Buddhism. Buddhism predates Islam. But Muslims have no problem dismissing older traditions and cultures as pawns of the Jewish Devil and then destroying them.

In an August 8, 2012 interview with the Rasa news agency titled “The Cruel Genocide Against The Muslim People In Myanmar,” Ayatollah Ruhollah Qarehi, head of the Imam Mahdi seminary in Tehran, said: “The genocide of the Muslims in Myanmar is ostensibly being carried out by the Buddhists, but we are certain that Judaism and Global Zionism are [behind] the massacre and the genocide against the Muslims… The tenets of Buddhism are derived from Judaism. The Buddhists are a tool [in the hands] of the Jews, and ‘Buddhism’ is a name behind which [hides] the hand of Judaism and Global Zionism.

Why did Jews invent Buddhism? Because everyone hates Jews and everyone loves Buddhists. So the Jews just started claiming to be Asians and calling themselves Buddhists.

But, since the Jew knows that he is an [object of] derision throughout the world, he hides behind a pseudonym like ‘Buddhism.’ Lecturers at seminaries and universities, as well as the media, must [speak up] in various languages and in eloquent terms… and explain to the people and to our dear youth that behind [the term] ‘Buddhism’ there [hides] the Jew.”

It was a brilliant plan and the Jews would have gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for Muslims. And unsatisfied with just pretending to be Buddhists, the Jews also control Hinduism, apparently.

“Today the Jewish hand emerges from the sleeve of the Buddhists in Burma [i.e., Myanmar], [trying to] retaliate against the seekers of freedom in Muslim lands by harming the poverty-stricken Muslims of Myanmar.”

Poverty-stricken but also rather rapey and foreign, which may have something to do with Buddhist anger.

“It is no surprise, [then], that the media and international community have remained silent [over the events in Myanmar], for they are controlled by the political and economic power of the Zionists

Yes, the international community is notoriously silent when it comes to condemning Israel for horrifying crimes such as building houses.

Basij Commander Mohammad Reza Naqdi expands the conspiracy beyond mere Judaism to America and Freemasonry.

America and the Zionists are the main culprits [responsible for] the genocide of Muslims in Myanmar. [But] our [Iranian] nation is aware of [their] plots. Last Friday, we witnessed protests [that were held] throughout the country after the Friday prayers, at which calls of ‘Death to Zionism’ and ‘Death to America’ were heard. This shows that, in the case of Myanmar, they did not manage to divert the people’s attention away from the main perpetrators of the crime [in that country].

“Global Zionism and Freemasonry are the planners of all crimes against the Muslims.

Any chance they can appoint these guys to negotiate one-on-one with Kerry?

Erdogan: “The Image of the Jews Is No Different from that of the Nazis”

Now that we know that Turkey’s Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, uttered anti-Semitic comments similar to those made by Egypt’s President Mohamed Morsi, will the media do its best to avoid reporting those, too?

In November 1998, the Institute for Jewish Policy Research released its annual report on current trends in anti-Semitism across the world. In the section for Turkey, the journal quoted the then-mayor of Istanbul, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in June 1997, at a meeting organized by the municipality to celebrate the city’s conquest by the Ottoman Turks, remarking: “The Jews have begun to crush the Muslims of Palestine, in the name of Zionism,” the mayor said, “Today, the image of the Jews is no different from that of the Nazis.”

Erdogan later became, and still is, the Prime Minister of Turkey, a man whom President Obama describes as a personal friend, in a country that is a member of NATO, and head of a government that is regarded as moderate, and, as the London Times recently reflected, an example of how Islamism and democracy do not have to be mutually exclusive.

Birikim, a Turkish socialist culture magazine, also attributes the quote to Erdogan. A search through Western newspaper records, however, shows no mention at all of these comments.

That remark is not the only example of Erdogan’s hostility in this regard. Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak has reported Erdogan commenting that the media does not fully report Israel’s “murder of innocent children” because the “world’s media is under the control of Israel, and this needs to be emphasised.”

In 2009 another Turkish newspaper, Taraf, reported that Erdogan, while attending the opening of a university, stated, “wherever Jews settle, they make money. They are not property owners, as being tenants suits them best. On the other hand, whatever we have or do not have, we will invest in our houses.”

In early January, when the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) produced a video of Morsi describing Zionists as “the descendants of apes and pigs,” it took almost two weeks and a barrage of criticism for a leading newspaper, the New York Times, finally to report the comments. The eventual action led to worldwide denunciation of Morsi’s remarks and even a condemnatory statement from the White House. Now that we know that Erdogan, Prime Minister of a country considered to be a leading ally of the West, made comments similar to Morsi’s, will the media do its best to avoid reporting those, too?

Turkish schoolchildren in Istanbul received a series of books denouncing scientific figures, including one denying the theory of evolution and describing Charles Darwin as a big-nosed Jew, the Financial Times reported Friday.

According to the paper, the books were distributed last week to hundreds of students in the Maltepe district of Turkey’s capital after the government-affiliated local education authority approved their content.

The book on Darwin reportedly states that the evolutionary biologist “Had two problems: First he was a Jew; second, he hated his prominent forehead, big nose and misshapen teeth.”

    Darwin was not Jewish.

A separate book on Albert Einstein reportedly describes the physicist as “filthy and slovenly” and accuses him of eating soap. “The sad part is during that time the Gestapo was putting Jews into ovens and making them into soap,” the book adds.

Maltepe’s director of education, Faik Kaptan, told Turkey’s Radikal newspaper that he was unaware the books contained anti-Semitic references, saying, “It is not possible to check all the books distributed in the district.”
