Letter from Congressional Armenian Contingent to Obama Complaining About Turkey

President Barack Obama

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W.

Washington, DC 20500

Dear Mr. President:

We write to you with our concerns about Turkish backpedaling on the
agreed upon roadmap to normalize relations between Turkey and Armenia.

On April 22, 2009, just two days before the 94th commemoration of the
Armenian Genocide, the Department of State released the following
statement:

The United States welcomes the statement made by Armenia and Turkey on
normalization of their bilateral relations. It has long been and remains
the position of the United States that normalization should take place
without preconditions and within a reasonable timeframe. We urge Armenia
and Turkey to proceed according to the agreed framework and roadmap. We
look forward to working with both governments in support of
normalization, and thus promote peace, security and stability in the
whole region.

Two days later, instead of recognizing the Armenian Genocide, the
Administration opted to focus on this new roadmap to Armenian-Turkish
normalization. “I also strongly support the efforts by Turkey
and Armenia to normalize their bilateral relations,” you wrote.
“Under Swiss auspices, the two governments have agreed on a
framework and roadmap for normalization. I commend this progress, and
urge them to fulfill its promise.”

While the Government of Armenia remains committed to this roadmap and
has long offered to establish ties with Turkey without preconditions,
Turkeyâ€TMs public statements and actions since April 24th stand in
sharp contrast to this agreement and undermine U.S. policy that
normalization take place without preconditions.

On May 13, 2009, Prime Minister Erdogan publically conditioned
normalization of relations with Yerevan on Azerbaijanâ€TMs approval
of a future settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict that fully meets
Bakuâ€TMs satisfaction. “I want to repeat once more that
until the occupation ends, the border gates [with Armenia] will remain
closed,” Erdogan told the Azeri Parliament.

On June 17, 2009, EU South Caucasus Envoy Peter Semneby said Turkey had
taken “tactical steps backwards” in the normalization
process with Armenia.

It would appear that Turkey, in an effort to block U.S. recognition of
the Armenian Genocide, agreed to a roadmap it did not intend to uphold.
Therefore, we urge your Administration to separate the issues of
normalization and genocide recognition. We hope that renewed efforts
and focused resources from the Administration can be utilized to nurture
the Armenia-Turkey normalization process without preconditions and
within a reasonable timeframe, and continue to remain strongly
supportive of your stated campaign policy to officially recognize the
Armenian Genocide.

Sincerely,

Absolutely nothing here that the dashnak Armenians haven’t done hundreds of times before over the past century! Now they are getting a taste of their own medicine and don’t seem to like it. So what do they ALWAYS end up doing…go and whine and cry to their bought off congressioanl politicians! My God, have you EVER seen a bigger bunch of selfish, manipulative whiners? Hey, would you all like some cheese with those whines? I hope Obama flips them off with the bird! It’s what the world’s been doing now for the past few years as they start learning the truth! GOD shall punish each and everyone of these dashnaks in his own special way!

Imagine were the American economy would be if the losers that signed that letter had focused half as much attention on Federal Reserve policy, Lehman Brothers, the SEC, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae for the past several years. They should all be impeached for gross neglect of their duties to their constituents and horrific incompetence… it seems that the millions of dollars in campaign contributions they receive from Armenian lobbies apparently takes precedence over American interests. Don’t these guys have to swear allegiance to America before taking office?

Turkey’s amazing insight: State Minister discovered Turkish nationalism and extremism in Van Monster

For many years we have lived in a nightmare: ‘Communism regime – close the Soviet border; fundamentalism – close Iranian border; terrorism – mine Syrian border; Armenian demands – close the Armenian border.’ Where this path leads to? This is the way to national isolation. And here and now I realize how terribly the nation destroys its history and heritage.

I think I discovered the long-chased Monster of Lake Van. We ourselves are this imaginary monster – as for many years we have been severely obliterate our freedom, faith, wealth and history.

Sona, you’re post just goes to show how genociders like you live in an alternate reality. You don’t even know the reason why the border between Turkey and Armenia is closed. Here, let me help you.

The border between Armenian & Turkey is closed because Armenia attacked and now occupies land that belongs to the sovereign nation of Azerbaijan. And when it did that, the Armenian military massacred innocent civilians who were trying to flee and ethnically cleansed over a million Azeri Turks from their homeland. That is why the border between Armenia and Turkey is closed.

Hey, did you know that before WWI, the Muslims were the majority in the city now called Yerevan. How about that? Do you know what happened to all those Muslims, Sona?

Again, imagine where the American economy would be if, instead of pandering to foreign interests the losers that signed that letter had focused half as much attention on Federal Reserve policy, Lehman Brothers, the SEC, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae for the past several years.

I wonder if any of those jokers’ constituents lost a job or their home recently …

I ask you: “HEY, did you know where were you-turks, when we-ARMENIANS were in WESTERN ARMENIA, as you like to call Eastern Anatolia?!!!

    FOR YOUR INFORMATION!
Armenia never occupied Azerbaijani territories. ARTSAKH REALIZED ITS RIGHT of SELF-DETERMINATION. Azeris replyed with war. ARMENIANS won the war! Azeri will pray to HEYDAR ALIEV, who asked YELTSIN and others to stop ARMENIANS, who were ready to sign CAPITULATION ACT in BAKU!!!!

Turkey’s State Minister Egemen Bagis visiting Eastern regions of Turkey made an amazing statement – to reopen and raise a cross on St. Khach church on Akhtamar island before RA President Serzh Sargsyan’s arrival, Hurriyet reports.
Egemen Bagis on his way from Akhtamar island asked Mayor of Van Gevaş Nazmi Sezer: “What if we reopen Akhtamar church for service?”
Mayor Gevaş replied: “Mister Minister, it would be great, and to put up a cross too… But wouldn’t it incite a counteraction?”
Bagis responded: “What counteraction are you talking about? On the contrary, it will boost tourism. People all over the world sending me inquires on Akhtamar church reopening. And all those on board say the same. For 10 hours that I am traveling around the territory, everyone I meet says the same. Once in Athens I saw a locked mosque and felt bitterness. Same with Akhtamar. How deplorable, isn’t it? Isn’t Akhtamar a part of history? Mosques are being open in Europe as prayer houses, and it is normal. Then, why Akhtamar is under a ban? What does it mean – to close Armenian borders and forbid Kurdish? Well, Greeks are bad too, this is prohibited, that is not allowed.
President of Turkey Abdullah Gul initiated a crucial process. We have visited Armenia with national football team. And now Armenian President arrives in Turkey. I propose to reopen the church and put up a cross before his arrival. Is it a worship to another God? No, by doing so, we acknowledge world and religious liberty. Eventually, under Ottoman Empire Akhtamar church diocese requested the sultan to open a seminary and got consent. The priests engraved a gratitude note on the church. I saw it inside the church and was astonished by the power, grandeur and wealth and intrepidity of the state. Don’t we learn lessons of Ottoman Empire’s history? Are we that much afraid?”
These were the words of Egemen Bagis, Turkish Minister of State.

    SONA=The RAT,

You’re so lost and desperate that you’re actually grasping at meaningless straws!!

Armenia is starting to lose ground and will eventually lose this war that it has perpetrated upon the world as the greatest con job of the 20th century! HALLY is very correct in the points made to you! Even your own dashnaks are begining to question if this “battle of lies and dashnak BS” can be sustainable over time! As I said several times earlier, the dashnaks house of lies are starting to weaken and about to start collapsing upon itself as the world begins to see the truth denied/blocked from them for 100 years! It’s just a matter of time now. Imagine a country (Armenia) that has a 98% purity rate! What does that tell you? In addition, they are the largest per capita reciepients of foreign aid in the world!! Your time is running out!

    SONA=The RAT,

Sorry to tell you this, but you’re wrong again, as usual!Armenians attacked Azerbaijan twice and Georgia once right after WWI! All three times they got there asses kicked back out again, but not after they committed their usual atrocities! Let’s not forget the recent attack on NK in 1992! Finally, along with your Greek friends, dashnak Armenian “volunteers” were fighting along side the Serbians as they massacred thousands of Bosnians in 1994+!!! How do we know this? The bodies of Serbs that were killed, when examined, some had Greek Hellenic symbols and others the Armenian Revolutionary symbols, all tattooed on them, in addition to wallets containg proof of who they were and where they came from! So, this is just another nail in your coffin of false and desperate arguments defending your people, who in reality along with the Greeks, are the true barbarians! So your garbage doesn’t wash with anyone, anywhere!!!

    Hey Sona,

Since you don’t know much about Turks, let me teach you about us too. Turkish is a nationality, not an ethnicity. Let me repeat, Turkish is a nationality, not an ethnicity.

While your ancestors were running around eastern Anatolia, mine were running around the Caucasus. They were ethnically cleansed from the Caucasus by Orthodox Christians like yourself and were forced to migrate to Anatolia on foot or by boat. Most of them died. Some survived the purges.

The lands where my ancestors came from were resettled by Orthodox Christians under orders of the Czars.

That is where my ancestors and 2 million others who were ethnically cleansed by Orthodox Christians were, according to historians, for the previous 5,000 years.

Foolish Sona, Ani, JDA, and all your other alternate personalities, Turks are made up of a mix of over 50 ethnicities. It’s all that mixing that has made our genetic pool stronger and stronger, while yours weakens with your obsession for “Armenian purity.” That we mix and assimilate and why there are over 75M of us worldwide. It’s probably another reason why we don’t suffer from the multiple personality disorder that is so prevalent in your society.

You bitch and moan about Akdamar, which was renovated at the expense of the Turkish tax payer, without a cent provided by people like you. Tell us, HOW MANY **OPERATING** MOSQUES REMAIN IN ARMENIA — a land in which the majority of the population was Muslim before WWI?

Tell us, how many operating mosques there are in Armenia so we can appreciate the full extent of your people’s HYPOCRISY.

Is there any other pissing contest you’d foolishly like to engage in to exhibit your ignorance?

Artsakh realized its right of self-determination? Really? Is that what Armenians call it when they ethnically cleanse 1 MILLION people from their homeland and massacre thousands of unarmed civilians?

I see, so then, we know the Dashnak plan to scream genocide until by some miraculous force of will Turkey is made to hand over the eastern third of the country to your Dashnaks.

What then do you plan to do with the 20M+ Turkish citizens who live there? Exterminate them?
