Re : Turkey’s Declining Support in Congress After Blunders at Home and Abroad
Dear Mr. Sassounian!
I have read your reactionary and turcofobic article “After Opening Way to Rebels, Turkey is Paying Heavy Price” and I must say; your essays are getting more disgusting each day. I am definitely no supporter of Erdogan, but your under-the-belt attacks are helping more than damaging him.
Your ideology sir, is a bouillabaisse of hate and prejudice. Your article, is full of lies, fabrications and wishful thinking. Needless to say that your thoughts are evil, to say the least. Your remarks are abnoxious by any standard. Your cynicism with regards to Turkish Taxpayer’s money being spent unwisely almost brought tear to my eyes.
You will have to wait one hell of a long time to see Turkey on her knees. Open your eyes Mr. Sassounian. You counted so many countries such as Armenia, Greece, Syria, Iraq and Iran, most of whom are already down on their knees, begging for help from Turkey, with your terminology.
Greece and Armenia are economically ruined and desperately in need of help and cooperation. Iraq and Syria are already in coma and intensive care. The recent state visit by the President Ruhani of Iran, shows the level of the bilateral relationships between the two neighbors. It also shows that your ignorance is as remarkable as your knowledge. The business volume between the two countries is more than the total Armenian budget on earnings.
Now, Mr. Sassounian; despite our mutual dislike of Prime Minister Recep Tayip Erdogan, we must admit that, if the majority of the Turkish Nation decides to bestow on him the position of President of the Turkish Republic, there is very little anyone can do about that.
In fact, if you read the most recent public statement by the USA, it says just that: America will work with who ever gets the majority vote, for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
Finally sir, whether you like it or not, and, with or without Erdogan, Turkey of 76 Million people continues to be a strong pillar of stability in that rather unfortunate region of the world- and, you know it!
Regards
Küfi Seydali
