A 50sq m olfactory space will be open to travellers at Istanbul Atatürk airport in partnership with Gebr Heinemann and ATÜ Duty Free
Beauty supplier Chanel has partnered with travel retailers Gebr Heinemann and ATÜ Duty Free to launch a promotional campaign around the classic Chanel No 5 fragrance at Istanbul Atatürk airport. The 50sq m olfactory space will present the product to travellers from December 1 to January 15 2013.
Created in 1921, the scent broke the established codes of traditional perfumery at the time and has remained a classic fragrance since. The Istanbul promotional area will employ the new brand communication campaign featuring Hollywood actor Brad Pitt—the first man to front the fragrance’s advertising—and guide customers with the help of the sales team through its different olfactory compositions.
The promotional zone is located within the main ATÜ Duty Free store at the airport, Chanel added.
