Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Wednesday met with Sadettin Ergec, leader of Iraq’s Turkmen Front (ITC) in Turkish capital Ankara.

Earlier, the top Turkish diplomat has separately met with Saleh al-Mutlaq, head of the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue, Salahaddin Muhammad Bahaaddin, leader of Iraqi Kurdistan Islamic Union Party as well as former Iraqi Prime Minister and head of the Iraqi National Reform Trend Ibrahim al-Jaafari.
Iraq seeks to set up a new government after the general elections on March 7. Turkey has announced that it is at equal distance to all groups in Iraq and supported a national unity government.
