The CRIA distinguishes itself as the only open-access peer-reviewed e-journal worldwide covering a variety of topics on the Caucasus. Being based in Germany the CRIA is published quarterly in English. The Review is committed to promote a better understanding of the regional affairs by providing relevant background information and analysis, as far as the Caucasus in general, and the South Caucasus in particular are concerned.
