Turks have been a symbol of Islamic faith for centuries and even the known historical Muslim countries like India, Egypt and Iran have seen Turkish rule in history. It was not because those Turks did carry the slogan of nationalism but because they were the open hearted layers of the foundations of bigger empires. Those Turks were able to guard and protect other folks better than their own kinsmen and thus making Turks known in history as heroes. If those did have the prejudice of Nationalism or language those would have vanished just like the successors of Ghengiz Khan.
God has given Turks the opportunity to rise again and get united to do more for they had lost their dignity and some even their lands, now it is not the time to make shortsighted approaches and lose the chance. Turkey is the country that is a major power among the Turkic nations, so it should make some broad based decisions keeping aside the pride and prejudice of Turkic nationalism. It had been dynamic for the time of Mustafa Kamal Ataturk against the aggressors but it will not work for a long as we see the Kurds and other nationalities crying for justice right in own land, then how is it possible to make satisfy the people of far lands taken in alliance. Turks can be united and powerful but some ammendments are needed at the most.
1- Turkish dresses should be introduced and Turks need not be seen as a whole wearing pantaloons and ties which looks very odd.
2- Arabic script should be adopted for the language shunting all Cyrillic and Roman ones, so that Turkish all over the world be read as a common and Turks be able to better know one another.
3- Turkish nations needs give more independence to other religious and national communities living along with them or in their territories so that respect may be won by the masses of the world as had been by the ancestors.
4- Though Mustafa Kamal Pasha was a warrior and a brave man of his time but Turkish nationalism or Kamalism should not be imposed on other people which will be a gross mistake and will create disturbances even in the land of Asia minor itself.

    Assumptions… Misinformation… Sad really… Very sad….

Without the Turkish Union Turks cannot help you!
    Order starts at home!

It is the genius of Ataturk that has enabled Turkey to establish itself as the leader of the Turkic world and the entire Muslim world at large. His model, the Turkish Republic, will be more and more relevant… Watch this space…

By the way Kazakhs are Turks… Kazakhs are a Turkic people. Who are we to judge the decision of the Turkic Kazakh people anyway?

    AL ARSLAN:

Excuse me, but do I understand you correctly? Is it your contention that Turkey abandon Westernism and go back to a non-secularistic state, complete with ultra-religious Islamic rhetoric? To abandon the Turkish language and re-adopt Arabic? To bring back Islamic law and do away with democracy? To remove Western dress and bring back the Burka, etc? If this is indeed your belief, then I must say, sorry, but are you INSANE?!!! If you want that kind of a world, go to Iran or the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan! Take your crap and backward ideologies with you!

Nice try JDA, but you’re starting to convince others that you’re nothing more than a childish little man who gets off on playing games! Actually, this is an interesting post by you. Why? You’ve just given more probable cause to have your ass arrested! Like I said, keep on singing!

As a Turk I find it rather amusing to be lectured on Ataturk by a Mr. Arslan of Chitral (Pakistan), the very seat of Agha Khan, who has caused the death of so many Muslims under the British rule in India. Mr Arslan seems to have written some amazing antics about Mustafa Kemal on a peculiar website called PRAVDA.RU! What a joke:

“Former Turks were honoured by the Europeans so much of their upright manners that a great part of European population got merged into Turkish. There are not remained Turks who could show some moral values to Europeans. Now these Mustafa Kamalised Turks ( Mustafa Kamal did a lot to free his land but destroyed theory of his nation) who look very odd in their European dressess and manners have got the
lust of Euro so much that they have made up their mind to sacrifice anything and do anything to win the hearts of Europe which had last broken very early. Now it is too late.”

    http://engforum.pravda.ru/showthread.php?p=2738468#post2738468

“All must know that the Crusades did begin because of the intrusion of Turks in the Eastern Roman empire or Byzantium in eleventh century(Battle of Benzikurt/Malazgard,1071A.D). Turks do not make Europeans happy having Antioch and Canstantinople being Muslims by religion though there are mass population of Muslims scattered around Europe nowadays, e.g Serbian land, Macedonia, Albania etc but Europe will never welcome Turks as a first rated friend. Turkey is just losing its energy in useless strive. Even then Turkey may become their good friend and neighbour but being desirous to enter in the league of Europe will raise questions and quarrels which will not be solved so need stop at the spot. Mustafa Kamal using all his Europeanised tacts could not win the motive who had even tried to alter the way of praying in the mosque, not more than that will be ever done anyway. To become responsible, keen and better Turk will be best for Turkey.”

You are clearly an anti-Turk. A very lousy one at that…

Why would a Chitrali want Turkey to turn towards a misinterpreted Islam and disseminate misinformation to that effect that cannot even stand the name of Ataturk?

A Turk can easily distinguish between a “Farsi”, a Parsi, an Ismaili and a fraudster masquerading a friend of Turks all at once…

“When the Sultan of Turkey joined the war, and proceeded to proclaim a Jihad, a world Jihad, and to cry from all the mosques and minars in Islam that the faith was in danger, then the frontier fat was in the fire. But Habibullah, the `beloved of God’, Master Mason in the English constitution, was mindful of his obligation `Of the badge of friendship and the bond of peace,’ and he sat very tight in Kabul.”
    –General George Macmunn

Source: ‘The Natives are Restless’ by Idries Shah, 1988 [Octagon Press]

Mustafa Kemal concluded that Jihad on behalf of all the oppressed peoples and called its fruition a Republic: A jihad of Reason and Science.

Yet such profanes are still sitting tight in Chitral and Kabul…

    Wee teeny bobee,

Eveyone with whom you might disagree, with your tiny chihuahua fangs exposed, and scary little chihuahua growl, is not me.

You and your adversary above may dream of a neo-Ottoman Empire, with or without an Islamic core, but to date, the AK party seems more comfortable with Islamic Arabs than post Soviet Turkics. Plus, these expansionist dreams are subject to Chinese power to the East, and Rus power to the North. You’ve heard of them, right?

But good luck, maybe you can have the first Der Wienerschnitzel franchise in Alma Ata. Your year in and year out excellence in bussing tables at the IHOP will surely put your franchise application at the head of the line. I can picture a little turkish American [you] lecturing the locals as you call them your glorious Turkic brothers, and offer them genuine Stonyfield Farms “Genghiz” brand Mares blood cocktails.

Good luck, and as far as I can tell, its been at least 48 hours since you kissed Ergun’s giant butt in public. Aren’t you a bit overdue?

Mr.Haluk! do not feel that only by being a Turk you become an expert in Turkish theme and manners. Do not talk about the latest Sultan of Turkey but make a look to the past section 5 centuries ago when Suleyman Alishan who had conquered a great part of Europe did a gross mistake killing his able son Mustafa Pasha upon the signal of his beloved Russian wife. By then the first unable, non Turkic and incompetent Sultan sat on the throne and a road to downfall started that ended on Mustafa Kamal Pasha and his nationalism. It is not the talk of Burka to be revised but Turkish dresses and simple manners. Do never become in inferiority complexion that being or looking like a traditional Turk or Muslim you will lose something or lose your road of development.
Chitral is a northern district of Pakistan which did comprise the population of Aryans in the southern part and that of Turkic in the north which were the real Chitralis. Gradually the southern Aryan population that was pagan by nature was dominated by preaching and influence thus becoming the population a mixture of Aryans, Tajiks, Turks and Moghols. Qirghiz, Ozbeks and Uighurs have in history made many raids into the area but have been repulsed by Chitralis. Chitralis are upto twenty five percent Ismailis while others are Hanfi Sunnis and very strict to their faith. First Arab invaders and the historians of Mahmud Ghaznavi have written about the people of Chitral to be Turkomans. Chitral was a State of its own in history which was later cut and divided between the bigger political powers of India and Afghanistan and only the capital with some adjacant valleys are only left as a district.
Mr.Robert! you have talked about democracy, it is totally a gossip when you name capitalism as democracy. Just go through the streets of United States and count people who are against sending troops to Iraq and Afghanistan and then those who oppose that. O.K do not put on a Burka and make remain faces open never mind but do not let do adultery which is the ultimate disgrace to the right of women in secularism. That woman is not to be accepted as a wife and not given protection but used and let wander.
If Turkey did run its policies of Nationalism it will first face the trouble of Kurds who have been even not let use their language even as a regional. Then will be the turn of Diyarbaker.
    Aglama Diyarbakir.

    Al ARSLAN=JDA=The RAT,

Now you’re trying to make us believe that you are a Kurd. I have nothing against Kurds, Iranians, Pakastanis, etc! I do however, have much against any group that would try to destabalize Turkey and the memories of Ataturk and the thousands who made the ultimate sacrifice to make Turkey a secular democracy! Sure, democracy isn’t perfect, no form of govenment can ever be a utopian paradise! The Communists tried that thought process and it only lasted a little over 70 years. Problems, of course there always will be ups and downs with any democracy. But I’d rather have the freedom and choice to make my own decissions, to protest what is wrong with the government, than to have a Caliph Law of fanatical Islamism dictating every movement I make, what one can wear and say, etc, all because of some uneducated low-life who has taken advantage of the ignorant masses, rising to power and changing the very heart of the Koran by making up BS stories to suit his own needs (i.e. being a martyr and going to heaven with 72 virgins…Where in the Koran does it say anything about that!), all for his own lust for power! They did that in Iran back in the 1970’s and turned a modern, progressive nation backward 500 years (even this will revert back to normalcy over time as newer generations yearn for democracy and freedom from religious persecution and overthrow the Imams!)! I love my countrys and have worked hard to make sure that “Peace At Home” as well as “Peace Through Strength” will continue! There are many who would love to see us fail (right JDA), using any lie to accomplish their goal! But they will always fail in the end! If you love Islamic Law so much that you want it to dominate your life, then go right ahead, move to Iran, Afghanistan or Pakistan and knock yourself out! But you leave Turkey out of your madness!! Just as there are good Armenians (non-dashnaks), there are also good and respectful Islamists who mean no harm to anyone. Unfortunately, you ain’t one of them!

So JDA, despite what you keep yabbering about, you’re not fooling anyone! But, as I said before, just keep singing! It’ll catch up with you soon…very soon!!

    Great Turkic Brooklyn Chihuahua,

    what’s the holdup?

I’ve been expecting you so long the invite is stale.

By the way, I see the Turkish police rolled up 5,000 Al Qaedas in Glorious Turkey yesterday. Looks like you have more to worry about than fat Ergun’s planetary waistline. He’s changed shape from pear yo bowling pin to pumpkin.

    JDA=The RAT,

Gee RAT, since you love to use references to canines (i.e. Chihuahuas) so often, it makes one wonder if you have a “different” type of love for them! Hey, far be it from me to make any judgments on what you may be into behind closed doors! While we’re on the topic of deviant sexual behavioral fantasies, yours seems quite obvious, considering your constant references and referals (and wordings) to certain individuals! But, like I said, whatever floats your boat!

The war on terrorism is a non-stop effort! Since you’re a brainwashed, blind devotee of dashnak Armenian propaganda and an acceptor of their terroristic actions (and who knows what other bizzare things you’re into), and would gladly give them a rim job at the drop of a hat, you would naturally seek any negative in a positive job of dealing with terrorists by Turkey! I haven’t heard much about Armenia doing a whole lot about terrorism, other than exporting it world-wide! Before you rant about another nation as you look for any faults, try looking to your beloved country of Armenia to see what they’ve done or haven’t done (because of your guilt by association support for terrorists, showing that you’re indeed a threat to the US, you’re disloyality negates you from calling the US your country!)!

Finally, when are you going to get it through your thick skull that it isn’t me that you need to worry about?! What you need to really worry about is that which you never see coming!!! So, keep on singing, like a good little traitor!! Oh, as for that invite of yours, it may very well be fulfilled before you know it (just don’t plan on me being there..I don’t need to be, if you know what I mean)!

One thing would have been essential for the time to shunt the -doves, -eves and -toves from the names of the Central Asian Turkic population. At least they are free from Russian domination now they can change the style of their names to their traditional ones. Nazerbayove, Ahmadove, Karimove can be easy and honorable if be written as Nazer Bey, Ahmad and Karim.

Me thinks you need a tad bit of help, what with the weird sex-dog- etc. stuff. Whew! I hope the elderly contributors aren’t forced to associate with this very odd suff. I’m sure they all draw the line at Genocide denal.

The chihiahua references are to you, mighty Turkic alpha dog of Brooklyn. Truly you are a mighty dog.

    JDA=The RAT,

As always, you run from the truth and any posed questions, just like a good little brainwashed, dashnak Armenian ass-kissing traitor to the US will typically always do! All of your taunts and stupid attempts at humor really serves no purpose (unless you’re into amussing yourself, among other things that you might be into that you can do alone in your room, by yourself). Untill you dashnaks Armos come out of denial and are ready to discuss the genocides which you committed during the 19th and 20th centuries, there’s no point in dealing with any of you! So be a good little Arryan (as dashnak Armenians were personally annoited as such by your demi-god…Adolph Hitler during WWII) and play with you Chihuahua! Your pathetic self delusions are more than enough to get you through the night!!

As for the promised visit of Nano Bob and the mysterious Ninja Assassins, along with attack Chihuahuas, I’m still waiting.

I bet you don’t have a girlfriend. No non-Turk would come within a mile of any ethnic crackpot, and chances are Turkish American girls aren’t quite as fascinated with your obsession as you think proper.
