Few Americans know about Azerbaijan’s role in the war in Afghanistan, Iraq and in combat with international terror, said chief executive of the American Jewish Committee David Harris.
He said that people in America do not know that Azerbaijan is an island of tolerance, maintaining good cooperation with Israel.
He added that upon return to the United States he will work for informing the community about Azerbaijan.
“Particularly, we will focus on the 907th amendment. Moreover, special attention should be paid to the activity of the OSCE Minsk Group on the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict”, said he.
